Well ive bought one of these intake snorkels from ebay and ive got to say that it is a bit more responsive. I will follow up on any fuel consumption improvements in the coming weeks.

^hehe - gold! I've found the same result with my EF - fitted the BA V8 snorkel and got rewarded with better response immediately.
