Quick question guys.. Does it have a normal or reverse thread?
I've tried unscrewing, but cannot get it off off the life of me!!! |

Normal direction to remove. Be carefull not to strip it.

I thought that some cars (EB?) non LSD actually had a plug - so you just pull it out???
Was certainly the case for some models. Nigel |

It should just unscrew in an anti clockwise direction.

All sorted.. Just jammed a 1" spanner on there, used the right-rear wheel as leverage and kicked the s**t out of the spanner..
There was no fu***n chance in hell I would have got it off whilst under the car.. Thanks guys. |

. . . . and a bit of pipe over the end to increase leverage.

Nah, didn't have a breaker bar or pipe laying around, so had to make do with what I had - a whole lot of f**k all! Nothing but a spanner..
So, after a whole lot of cursing & kicking, the b***h finally came loose! I'd love to know what they used to tighten it.. An impact gun with a whoooole lodda PSI!! |

Haha. True true.. Been there, done that; Not pleasant by any means! But for some reason that 'red mist' kicked in, and I became focused on getting it! Oh well, guess some of us will never learn. Haha! |
