Also, they make a big deal about it being experimental.. what does that mean in terms of it getting the emissions right?


Incidentally.. for anyone interested.. here is a photo of my ECU transplant just after I first hooked up the ECL ECU and started the car.. the bunch of wires coming from the top of the ECU are all the spares I have on my plug after I'd transplanted all the extras' from the EL plug. The little black box near where the kick panel goes is the smartlock bypass.
