Hay all.
Not really confident in installing a new set of side blinkers for my EL fairmont. Can anyone help me with a step by step guide or pics on what to do. Any help please. Zacha001

You pretty much just CAREFULLY pry the old ones out with a small flat balde screwdriver, disconnect the plug, connect the new light, and they just clip back into the panel.
But like i said, do it carefully to avoid scratching paint, etc. Andrew.

heres an easier sure fire way not to scratch the paint.
undo 3-4 of the screws that hold in the splash sheild in the wheel arch and pop it out from behind.

After you undp the screw on top, just pull it. DONT pry it out, you'll chip paint/crack lenses.

If its the side flashers then you do need to pry them... but very carefully.

no you dont just push them out carefully from behind the guard, no need for prying anything

If its the std gli style of flasher you push them forward (i think) and give them a little help with the screwdriver. If its the rounder style I'd assume its the same - i havent pulled them off before. |
