Second of all, throw out the 7x10's. They are power draining and pointless. Run some 6.5 3 ways in the shelf straight of the stereo. Run some splits up front of a quality amp. Run the S type of a powerful amp. Job done and sounds awesome. |

actaully the 7x10s happen to be the best speakers ever manufactured by kenwood -.- look them up KFC-HQ715

In my experience 7x9/6x9 are bigger but not better for split systems. They are good for composite sound setups where you don't have/need band splits. Cheaper option goin with a good set of 6" 2 ways I reckon if your gonna have a 3 way split system (i.e subs, mid, tweeters)
Though seein as you already have em... run the speakers straight off the deck. With the bridging it depends on whether your amp supports it. There should be a single RCA input for bridged mode and your speaker terminals should have designators for which to use in bridging mode. If you have low pass filters, set them on. |

Alpine's will last longer and are better than Kenwood.
Get a pair of Type S or R 6.5" coaxials for the rear shelf and you will be much better off. 6x9's can cancel out some of the sub noise also, my mate has had this problem, much better off with 6".

quite apart from the fact that if you run the 7x10's, you are going to have to either chop your parcel shelf or use spacers, which look like s**t!
If you're going to run a sub, the 7 x 10's are unnecessary and a 6-6.5 three way will sound better run off the head unit anyway! The 7 x10's are more than likely too heavy to run effectively, even off a high powered (pffft) head unit!
