has ne1 retrimmed an el ghia leather seat? the grey colour. i heard they dont have any aftermarket stuff that is close to the original. bloke told me to paint it, but might crack. help

there are specialists arnd that can paint it for u, some even give a 2 yr warranty on it.
saw it on the car show a while back.
don't know any one who does it thou.

ghia v8 - I see you're in Melbourne...I can recommend Leather Creations for dying leather - the'yre in Richmond...otherwise for custom leather - Gary Blackman (also in Richmond) and Auto-Image in Thomastown (they do the Herrod interiors).

Just be warned - dye does wear off...so it might not be so good for seats considering how many times you get in and out etc.
