I'm picturing the ferrari towing the caravan, imaging asking for a towbar to be fitted to a ferrari.

I think the xt has the 3.23 and the xr6 has the 3.45 i suppose that then equals the 20kg extra the xr6 is carrying.

Hey big baz, the times for the xr6 and the ba were from the november magazine in 2002.
They tested all the fords in that issue. Sorry i didnt put up the quarter mile time. it said 0 -400m in 16.1 at 143 km/h. and for the xr they said 15.8 at 146 km/h.
What i found interesting however was the rolling response 80 - 120 kmh. The xt did it in 5.8 and they recorded the xr in doing it in 5 flat. Whats up with that, thats a big difference for what is basically the same car.

By the way big baz, i saw the nizpro kits. What do you say, well both go and get the stage 4 kit with 270 kw and then both cars will really start kicking a** and give some ss commodores a run for their money! :D

None the less I have dragged off both the BA XT and the XR6.

My EF XR6 was a little quicker on the day.

the ba xr6 n/a is a joke and has given the previous xr6 models a bad name imo
