I have put a new motor in my car ( AU HP into EF) using EF intake manifold, starter motor, accessories ( fit just fine), and coil pack; so it's basically EF electrical gear .
Put recharged battery in, tried to turn it over and nothing happened. Caution light ((!)) flickered, radio doesn't work (did prior to swap), dome light and demister doesn't work, temperature guage goes to H with temp light on. Reverse light etc is fine though. It's not the inhibitor switch, and the starter/battery appears to be getting power to it (albeit only tested with test light). Knock sensor isn't plugged in as EF and AU differ here. Any ideas? HELP!!! Last edited by FalconIV on Sun Jun 08, 2008 8:03 pm, edited 1 time in total. |

I think you're talking about the CRT_LP fuse or something along those lines? one of the main cabin fuses may have blown. Also check your relays as well as your battery connections. phong =P~

also, check that the car isn't immobilized. the quick way to check is to short out the two starter terminals on the BCM, and if it cranks, then smartlock has immobilized the car.
