hey guys when changing my leads the other week i notices that the numbers on top of the dizzy showed a different pattern to the on thats in my workshop manual, also when I was pulling them out I noticed that they werent put on in any order at all (shonky mechanics i tell ya lol)
So I was wondering which order is the right one and how bad is it for the engine if they were in the wrong order. Oh, one more question, does anyone know how to reset the ECU? my gragors manual says to take a Fraud dealer, yer dont think so. By the way its an EL falcon on LPG and petrol. cheers guys.

To reset the ECU, just unplug the battery (or the ECU!) for around 30 minutes. After that, reconnect and happy driving. It may take a bit of driving until everything settles down, so dont be put off by a bit of rough idling immediately after the reset.

the fireing order 1 5 3 6 2 4,going clockwise.
and its amazing how these things can adapt,,ford put my leads on when they replaced the distributor, they had 2 and 3 back to front and it ran like that for 12 months before i found it when i changed the cam over,,i labled the leads as they were before removing them.
