Hi i`m wanting to put a auto ba shifter into a el. i`ve searched and cannot find any info . i mainly need a wiring diagram, any help is appreciated

theres only 3 wires for the tiptronic part, +5v gnd and signal. The signal wire changes voltage according to the position the shifter is in.

however there's no 'input' on an EL ecu to take that signal. You have to got to alot more troble to get teh tiptronic feature working.

Also the diffrence between the cable operated BA shifter vs. the linkage operated EL shifter, means you'll need to make physical changes to get it work as well.

It can be done, but easy it is not.

Look up dellboy (I think) here, he put one into his EA.

Thanks for the replies.the mechanical side of things are to much concern,it`s just getting the tiptronic working. ie the electronics i dont know where to start .cheer`s
