Hi guys, I have an EL XR 8 for sale. Car has done 268800ks, auto and torque converter recoed at 266000ks, radiator replaced at same time and trans cooler also. Had new pads and rotors fitted, also pedders front and rear springs and monroe gt shockers and struts fitted at 265000ks, also had Redback 2 1/2in cat back exhaust fitted at 266000ks. Car was roadworthy 21/1/08 at 265500ks with new screen + 2 new front tyres. Rego expires 10/08. Car is white with red rubber strips, has all bar codes on panels and original XR 16in rims. Car has stage 2 shift kit, also fitted AU XR 8 185kw engine 800ks ago that had done 138000ks. So it has GT40P heads and explorer upper and lower, 65mm throttle body and 70mm maf. Reason for selling is I just picked a manual EL XR 8 series 2. Looking for $6200.00 but open to offers.

Have been asked if car comes with a roadworthy cert. The answer is no. It will pass as roadworthy was only done 3300ks ago. Have also been asked if car has any rust. As far as I know I can't see any. Was also asked if car has GT40P as I posted in V8 section to check on heads but that was for the car I just purchased. Have reciepts for springs & tranny, Redback exhaust work done. Have reciepts for Shockers, Slotted Rotors, Pads & new LH Front power window reg I did myself but have reciepts. Also has Nolathane watts linkage rear end bushes, strut radius and front swaybar bushes.

What year is the car, what sort of mileage are you getting from a tank (city and highway).

This would be a good buy if in good condition once on lpg

I wouldn't say its high at all. With all those mods its a bargain. Must be high fuel prices scaring people.
