Hi all i was just wondering if the BA/BF Airbox will bolt straight in to an EF/EL with out any mods?

Also will the rest of a BA/BF intake go straight on?

Thanks,

The intake will fit if you have an EL because they have the same bolt threads on the plenium for the cross-over pipe. The airbox will not fit unless you bash the inner gaurd down a bit. I think you can only line up 1 or 2 of the original airbox mounting bolts?

thats all I know, cheers!!!

have to hammer the metal guard down underneath the lower section of where the air box bolst in.. otherwise the lower section lines up perfectly with the snorkle mouth..

I'm interested to know how the AU compares as well.

Also, the BA box looks bigger in the photos than the EF/EL box, does it run a larger air filter? Is this one of the main reasons for the mod?

Any pics on what needs to be bashed and how much? I don't like the idea of setting a hammer to body panels, id be more inclined to heat up the plastic of the lower half of the airbox enough and mould it to suit.
