Have just finished building the motor and ready to fit, my cam came with my turbo ed when i got it, 250 @ .50 12 lobe sep

20 thou off the deck is a lot isnt it??

would have thought the pistons would be poking out the top with that much off..

Well yes it was alot to take off and they did come out, bit of a stuff up on my part beacause i was under the impression the race series pistons have a deck height of .030

Fired her up today, running very well with just a few little things to finish off. Shift kit is great, just need to change diff gears to 4.11's.

Great motor mate, did you change the oil pump? is the relief valve ok? as your oil pressure is off the scale. Or is it to do with the sender because you have the el dash in? ive got a high volume race pump in mine and it only sits halfway.

The oil pressure sender he is using is probably the EB-ED one, which is different to the EF-EL one.

I fixed my EF cluster by fitting the EF-EL one. $62 from Ford.
