Hey guys

i just replaced my cylinder head and ive got a rough idle.

When at idle it smokes black white black and misses but here and there the idle smooth out but 95% of the time it rough.

I checked the plug gaps and there all good. havnt checked the leads. yet.

i checked the timming chain and line up the crank to tdc and the the cam gear sits about 5mm to 7mm above the top of the head. i thought it had to be alight excactly but guy at work told me it was right.

while the car is driving you do feel the engine is slightly restricted but when over 3000rpm no problems at all no misses nothing.

anyone got any suggestions????

Check that the vacuum pipe is on the map sensor.
