Hey boys i put led globes in front, side and back.. and they flash too fast like a globe is blown with the standard globes... Is there a LED flasher unit for them to stop the fast flashing? If so what brand, i checked out Bosch, they dont make one..
And the Led tail lights are dimmer than the standard, can they be made brighter?

Need a replacement flasher relay as the LED's draw less current. Dunno where you get them but. Perhaps JayCar or someone sells a universal one that you can replace the genuine one with.
Brightness of the LED's is based on what LED is used (assuming it's getting the right voltage). So different brand might be brighter.

the LED lights are dull because they are directional and the light doesnt reflect back into the chrome reflector in the tail light. I had the same problem trying to put LED's in my AU II taxi cause I was spending more time and money changing tail light globes instead of picking up customers :(

If the pic refers to your tails lights, I wouldn't get in your taxi either.

The Bosch electronic flash unit may not have 'LED' specified on it, however it has its own timing circuit and should work 100% with ANY load of upto around 7amps.

But if you need it to have a large price tag and LED written on it, be my guest. I've got one in my cortina and it worked fine, as long as you have an incandescent globe in the cluster so it can have 'some' type of earth.

grab one from the wreckers, hunt around escorts, sigma's, gemini's etc they've all got these 2 pin flashers.

Narva sell a LED flasher unit, you can order them from most auto shops (they're not normally stocked).

Part # 68246
