Who has the quickest internally stock barra motor.I read about the guy who ran 13.7 on a stock motor which is insanely fast for a n/a six and now my mind boggles.Theres a guy in perth who runs 13.6 with his n/a 250 x flow xe but noone gets anywhere near that time with a ba/bf here in perth.

Thanks damo, when you say stripped interior do you mean no seats and door trims?

Yeah don't quote me on it but I'm sure it was with seats and trims removed, and probably everything out of the boot.

was the 13.6 in an 'XF with just an exhaust' ?

if so, read the thread, it was a s**t topic to get people to help him work on his EA.. Actually, don't read the thread, it was an absolute waste of time..

Nah man your way off,the guys car im talking about goes to motorplex regularly and ive seen him run a 13.6 myself. The car has roughly 230hp at the tyres(what he told me) and pulls a good skid. The motor has a custom grind solid cam,650 holley and the usual stuff(i dont know the exact details)4 speed toploader and 4.11 or 4.44 gears.Very fast n/a xe falcon.

If you strip the absolute crap out of a cortina or an xe you would have to be left with something that weighs around a 1.2 tonne. (correct me if i'm wrong). So if you can tune a stock six to something around 180kw the power to weight ratio is equivilant to a brand new xr6 turbo.

13 flats should be no problem....
