Hey guys i had a s**t idle after cylinder head and i just take the timming cover off to check the timming and i just want to double check that the timming is corretly refitted

Yep, looks ok, But I wouldn't trust chain markings.
Always go by the timing marks, not by the chain. Theres location marks on ALL gears. The Cam marking should be upto 3mm above the head casting on the INLET SIDE. (ie: 3o'clock facing it) And the Crank should mate upto the Aux Shaft. (not a big drama is it doesnt tho)

i got the timming cover back on and everything tight but then i put my 17mm spanner on cam gear and move it to side to side the chain has a lot of play the cam rocks about 2 or so mm each way is this normal of did i do something wrong with the tensioner???

there shouldnt be any play did you put all the chain guides in?? make sure tensioner is in corect

I put the timming cover back on and fitted new tensioner and lifter and started up can it had a hell of a rough idle and when i try to open the throttle to rev it just back fires. what do you guys recon wrong??? here few pic's of timming after i ran engine.
i thinking it might be cam angle sensor out by a tooth or something
