I have the old classic problem of the cycling central locking it happend as soon as I jump started my car last. I resorted to pulling out the fuse and using my keys then I found out one of the back doors is still unlocked so there is no way to lock it. So I though ill just get this fixed.

Ive done some searching on here and found out it seems like its an actuator issue. I dont want to get it done professionally as ive been quoted 200 bucks just for one actuator when It could be multiple.

So I was looking at the jaycar kit and saw all the complicated wireing procedure with installing it. I was wondering if i could just replace my old actuators with the jaycar ones using all existing wireing? If this is not possible what wireing do I have to do to get it working again? I was sort of just using the existing actuator wireing and putting it into the jaycar ones if this is possible which it probably wont be. If there are any good guides out there please send them to me I saw this one

http://www.fordmods.com/forums/EF-EL-Ce ... n-d74.html

but I couldnt follow it right, probably cause it was talking about BEM's etc.

Any help would be appreciated.

Oh and sorry for yet another central locking cycling thread :P
