i recently put blue leds in my speedo 2 replace the old bulbs.. but only the tacho lights up!! and yes iv tryed reversing the bulbs... i cant workout what it is... any help would be great guys n girls

I noticed on the weekend when i had to fix a coulple of bulbs in mine that after time the contacts inside the cluster get a little dirty.
All i did is just bend the little tabs on the bulb holder in a little, and it makes better contact, and all mine light up now. Mayb e give this a shot. andrew,

Also don't be surprised if some of the resistors that come with the LEDs are already blown. I did it the sure-fire way and soldered a resistor and super-bright LED directly to the circuit board. Make sure you file down the ends of the LEDs too to give a more flood-light function rather than spot.

pull the globe that works out and try it in the other spots and see if it lights up. if it doesnt you may have damaged the tracks or the polarity could be the wrong way around. also try all the others in the spot that works and see if they light up, atleast then you have a bit of an idea where to start looking
