i almost bought one because i was to lazy to pull the manual pedal box out of a wreck, until i was over taken by cheapness and couldnt justify being lazy n buying a stupid pin for $120 bucks or spending a few hours f**k around with pedal boxes. rip off for what it is if you ask me, fabricate somthing yourself or replace the pedal box.

If you take a look at Mal Woods Pin, youd see its actually *very* well made.
and.. if the box bends, you can get another auto setup anywhere. Cant say that of any of the other methods. Oh yeah - not stressing with the dash is also good. I would be removing the auto pedal to cut it though... no fires for me. |

not really a rip off but in thesame token using a simple bolt and nuts and a peice of flat bar almost i identical as the mal wood pin

personally i used the pin.
after all the time f**k around getting the auto out and manual in, im glad i got it, cause i was in no mood to pull the dash out

my pedal box lasted 2 months before the creaking noises/pedal movment, lasted another month and then the pedalbox cracked and couldnt use the clutch at all (thank god it went in the driveway)
they have added a plate to try and stop the cracking since i used mine as seen in the above pics, but i wouldnt go there again. well worth putting a welded/plated up pedal box, its a bit of a b**ch to do, but after a bit of swearing, and couple of hours its done, and my proper manual pedal box has lasted ages even with mean treatment and a heavy clutch. p.s. the dash doesnt have to come out, just unbolt and lift up and forward. i attached a pic of the aftermath of my pedal box (paint rox)

Note: For a V8, the pedal box still has to come out to fit the clutch pin kit.

It's not really as big a drama as it seems to do the job with a factory manual pedal box. I had mine welded and plates added to thin sections too. Prettymuch guarantee trouble free operation, just takes a little more dedication.
