Anyone able to tell me if the internals (specifically the bottom end) received any changes from AU1 to AU3? I releasise that there were changes from E-Series to AU.

Asking as I have the choice between a 1999 AU engine with low kms, or an 2001 engine with higher kms. Obviously if they are the same the lower km's is probably a better choice.

i am pretty sure the motor itself didn't change but the ecu was updated the main changes from au 1 2 3 is interior and suspension and body stlying...

i may be wrong but i am sure the motor is near identical
