Is the power steering pump on AU I6's the same as the EF version? Same brackets and bolt up the same?

I recall reading there may be a difference between the orientation of a hose(s) on the pump of different models? One goes down, the other goes straight back, or something like that?

i have an au pump on my ef 6 cyl, although they are the same on the outside i'm thinking they have different internal operating pressures and flows. after i put the au pump on my ef it groans at idle when turning, but as soon as the revs come up its fine. using the pulley off the ef pump too, even though i dont think there is a difference in since from ef to au.
