No benefit as such, it's only if you wish to replace your EF diff because it's stuffed or the only LSD [or better ratio] that you can get is from an EL. Then you can use the EL taking into account the slight differences in mounting points. Cheers, Mac

cool. thanks for clearing that up. I am putting an el xr6 diff in (my limo is shagged) and I can't complain about the price for the el one. So I guess I will have to grab some el xr uppers then? as the ones out of the donor car got squashed with the car

EF arms mounted in the forward-most holes on the EL diff...
They simply replaced the EF arms with the EL ones mounted in the same hole.

Good to hear, at least it was an easy fix
Edit:- YAY the new diff I'm getting is actually an ef xr diff not el, so no need to buy new arms
