hey my bonnet struts are stuffed and wont hold the bonnet up anymore :( just wondering how i would go about taking them off and putting new ones on :?: .. thanks

undo the little clips and push them out.

its very easy to do, and will take less then 5 mins to do the pair


edit: how much were the new ones and where from?

oh ok, i know supercheap sell them at $40 each, but they don't seem to fit?

I bolted them up and when i go to shut the bonnet, it just bottems out?

i checked and double checked and its definitely the recommended strut so i dunno?

Hmmm, thats good to know, i was about to buy some from s**t too.

However, a couple of years ago i got some rebuilt. Can't remember who buy, but it was some business out of the yellow pages. Was only $25 for the pair to be rebuilt.

Lookup gasstrutguys on ebay. Under 30 bucks delivered for new ones, great to deal with
