hi guys ,does any one know if there is a differance between the standed dyno mode and the shoot out mode .I was told there was a differance of 15 to 30 rwkw .is this true

What's it matter, doesn't make your car any faster, just gives you a bigger/smaller number.
dyno's are a tuning tool. If you want to say I'm better than you to someone, visit a track.

If you want to say I'm better than you to someone, visit a track. yep data_mine is right, plus any operator can fudge a reading if they want to, there is ways to artificially make a vehicle give a higher or lower reading on any dyno, just Dyno Dynamics make it easier than most.

Is a standard correction, so in theory if you get a dyno run in shootout mode in Syd, it will be the same as shootout mode anywhere else

Yes, it is true, but there's plenty more subtle ways of fudging results.
