Hey Guys,

I've been driving the folks AU XR6 and my bro's BA XR6T and have found that the seats in them are MUCH more comfortable than my stocko EF seats.

I've got black/blue leather seat covers on my front and rear seats so I really don't mind what style/colour the front seats are as I'll be getting more seat covers to match my rear seats anyway!

So here's my questions...

1. What are the legalities of fitting other seats into my car?
2. How hard is it to fit BA/AU XR seats into my car? I'm assuming I'd have to fit the seats to my existing rails in order for them to fit.
3. What other seats are available to fit to my car? Obviously there's a bunch of sports seats that I could make fit.
4. Has anyone done this???

Also! I was thinking about the XR6 seats rather than racing seats as I've got those headrest-screens so I'll need seats that can take headrests.

Cheers. I was looking at the Skyline seats. Anyone know if the EF/EL XR seats have more bolstering than the standards?

EL XR ones have a fair bit more bolstering, and are velour :D

I'll be putting leather covers on them so I don't really care what material they are.

I bought a pair of Cobra sports seats. Getting them retrimmed and a bit more padding for mine.

Currently have EL XR seats much nicer than the standard.
