Hey everyone, i recently removed my stock double din head unit out of my ef fairmont. as you would no it came with the cd stacker in the boot

now i have realised that i have left a cd in the stacker, everything is still there mounted in the boot cables still thru the car, the only thing is ive take out the amp and obviously the HU.

is there anyway to run power to the stacker now so i can get the CD's out

thanks

iirc, I think the case is grounded.

Only takes 2 mins to add a ground!

There should be enough current from the boot light to solve your problem.

You could also just talk to someone else who has the stacker - plug yours in for a seccy.

Power goes to the yellow wire
Earth goes to the black wire

I did the same thing when I removed my premo sound 8-)

theres an easier way to remove the cd's. get a card eg i.d. or license and from the front of the stacker underneath the magazine jiggle the card around and the magazine will just pop out then you can remove the cd's
