An eaton would be pretty difficult as there is nothing off the shelf for it.
Maybe start off with a four barrel manifold that has provisions for injector bosses, an adapter plate and perhaps a bit of dummiying up with snout lengths to try an get the offset right for the pullies. A powerdyne is an easier option but 9 psi seems to be near on its limits. A Vortech s trim or a procharger is probably a better option if you are looking to wind em up later on, they'll handle up to 20 psi with a cogged belt set up. Also another option for a positive displacement blower would be a Kenne Bell blower too, BPT do a kit to suit the 5.0L, Hearing their ED with it was like music, full boost at 1500 rpm too, I kinda wish I went that route now.

yeh i seen them but the price is excessive! i dont think i'd play with the boost but later on down the track go all out on the engine. and im hoping to go for a bit of a stealth setup sound wise eg not like KB! haha

BBK used to make a kit called the instacharger. It used an Eaton M90 and worked very well but anything more than a stock 5.0 would max out an M90. An M112 would be the better choice but it would be a custom intake job. The easy way for a Positive displacement blower will be a Kenne Bell kit or a Holley/Weiand 174 kit.
If you want quiet, use an SQ-trim Vortech. |

You can still get the Holley Procharger kits, but they are for Carbies, so would require some work for injector bosses, and TB etc

keep it coming fellas it's all sinking in, sounds like it mite be the vortech SQ-trim at this point in time, but an easy to instal and semi cheap(?) PD is my preference.
wat psi would the m90 make and does it run out of puff at the top of the rev range?

Eaton M90's don't like going much over 10psi. Because the swept volume is a bit low with a 5.0, if you go too much over that it will start to overheat the blower.

so if i run an m90 it would be a fair assumption that i could happily go around the 6-9 psi mark? im gonna look into the vortech kits though cos i know of a few happy campers with them.
