just wondering if these gear boxes are the same? i knoe the bell housings are different but am ansure about the the gear box, i tried to search but couldnt really get an answer

The AU gearbox is longer so the shifter would sit too far back and the tailshaft wouldn't fit.

Here's a pic. E-Series T5 on the left, AU in the middle.
