well, my bro decided i didnt need my K-frame anymore, so used it to get airborne off a wheel
so its all dented up and f**k - so just wondering how i go about replacing it...

You have to jack the car up, endo everything, including engine.
Make a brace mounted to the strut towers or support the donk from the roof, Undo, remove and replace. Then the fun par, installing everything thats attached to it. When thats done, wheel alignment is mandatory.

about 4 hours, easy enough. I supported my engine from the bellhousing and dropped it all out/ back in with the straight frame.
I am actually thinking that dropping the engine/box out this way is the best way to change the engine. This is how they go in at the factory.

i'm thinking of doing it on a hoist - would this make it easier?

i think it would be easier,get your motor secured from the top take the wheels off get a rattle gun and go nuts,would be a good oportunity to replace any worn bushes etc,why you have it out,also you could paint the new one a nice gloss black before putting it in!!
