Why dont you get the radio surround from an EL Ghia so the you can mount the DVD player lower.
If i was to put a screen in my EF i would get the EL Ghia radio surround and put a screen in the space where both headunits go, no s**t about it hitting the hump.
Ive never seen it done in an EF/EL but thats what i would do if you understand what i mean.

For one it's single din although you could try and mould in a pocket above it rather than below it but more importantly, I believe it would still hit the hump.

Firstly, DUDE clean out your car.

Secondly, this is the main reason I will be sourcing a double din unit with a 7" screen in front.

mountain dew - ewwww!!!

Yes I reckon with the double din from the premo sounds, a dremel, some plastic shaping and welding then a bit of painting you could come up with something that looks very neat.

Document it of course!!! :)
