A couple of days ago i read about how a members said that having the loud function on on your head deck made it sound crap etc. i want to thank this member because last night i re tuned my amp (every speaker in the car is run off one 6 channel 560WRMS JBL amp) with the loud function off. now the speakers are alot clearer, can go louder.
Cheers

Off topic but nice looking car mate. Mine was exactly the same when she was stock. Their great cars. Mine had all the factory fairmont options fitted from ford so made it a bit sweeter.
On topic, my system sounds better with loud on, it adds some more boom which suits my stereo/sub ive just tuned my alpine amp thats running my rockford 6x9's to put out more punchy bass so i got the best of all worlds. my 2c.

good on you. It's also comes in handy when you unplug the battery the sound settings won't change.

My head unit is basically set to the stock/factory settings, and tune via amp.

phong =P~

Personally I've generally found with the Loud function on it sounds better at lowvolume, but definately off for louder.

the LOUD function is to enhance low/hig end at low volume levels so having a negative effect on high levels would be expected
