First rule of modding.

- It isn't cheap.
- If it's cheap it's not a mod, it's s**t.
- If it was cheap and easy, why doesn't the manufacturer do it, so they can put a bigger number on the boot? (*cough* HSV and their well worn GM Engine Catalogue)

CAI are usualy cheap though, if you make them your self. A second snorkle from the bottom of the airbox is probly a good cheap mod most people can doo

nice one gezza :)

classic.

It was a daffy question to say the least. Not like you cant pop your hood and have a look. its just pipe with a box, not a quad cam head.

and with that title I couldnt resist...

cheers to gezz and flash for jumping on board for a little bit of a chuckle.

yeah mate, its actually the silver rod that runs along side your head on the right. should be about an inch think and shiny. either cut it with a hacksaw, or snap it with a chisel. Kinda looks like a small curtain rod. Helps pressurise the intake, but you will get worse economy. its why its there. to help economy at the cost of powa.

happy modding :D

That sounds suspiciously like you are talking about the fuel rail...... I hope you aren't tho.....

You had to ruin it didn't you :P

Yeah, you are right mate, I should've just stood back and watched as his engine bay went up in flames.... It's all funny till it ends in tears!!
