I went for a cruize in the beloved EF mont tonight after a sly year without my licence and noticed that the climate control will only back out a cool breeze even when set to 28 degrees. I haven't fired it up in a year at all, should I drive around with the climate on and it will eventually revive itself. It worked well when I last used it.

Could be the blend door motor dead, if so its unfortunately a dash out job. Do a diagnostic on the climate control and see if there's any error codes.

I understood that AC required periodic (say weekly) operation to distribute lubricant for mechanical components (compressor) and seals.
I wonder if you still have gas? Regards, Lyle |
