Your running GRA throttle body with some other converter (from the pictures your converter looks larger and is mounted vertically). I originally though it was for gas starting, however, one of the documents I have here talks about it opening at cruise and whatnot aswell. I did have a GRA B2 (same as yours) installed for a while but there was no decernable difference so I put the vialle back on.

i think that that solenoid is for cold start priming...cause if u look at a impco L converter that is how they do it...B2 is a copy of the impco

the solenoid is for cold start priming, but i beleive its also used with the closed loop controller to richen the mixture when u stab the throttle.
It goes to one of the ports on the under side of the throttle body. as seen in the pics, the other line goes to the ISC Block. I've pulled mine apart a few times so i could remmeber where everything went

the above converter is a GRA converter.
its also worth noting that normal B2's can be converted to work with GRA systems with a $12 spring kit.

Thanks for that. It answers my questions, but creates a new problem for me now. I don't have a connection on my throttle body for the line from the starter primer to connect to.
gogetta - any chance of a photo showing specifically were the line from the starter primer connects to on the throttle body? I think the only difference is that I removed the barb from the starter primer and fitted it into the converter, were you've got a line running to it remotely mounted. |

Do you know which 1 it is - http://www.gasresearch.com.au/IN-0009.pdf (see the second half of the page). I'm guessing it's the vapour injection port, but would love confirmation before I drill... |

http://www.lgmotorgas.com.au/navigation.htm Nothing on that site in the way of documents. And they're the original manufactuer of the converter, but GRA rebuilt it and supplied the rest of the components. |

Just had a feel and bit of a look under mine and there's only 2 brass fittings under there 1 already with a hose, need to remove it and drill out the other one than i guess. |

I drilled the other brass fittign out under my throttle body. There's only 2 there. The one that I just drilled out isn't the correct one I don't think, but I'm going to give it a go.

dang, how stupid of me. somehow, i managed to miss noticing the entire band of the clamp, only saw the screw part inline with the hose and started wondering if it was something funny... |
