Can anyone confirm if the EL GT exhaust set up in a 2.5 inch straight through to where the join into one pipe is, then 3 inch, one pipe the rest of the way out?

If so, is this a good system for and ELXR8 with basically the same engine after modding it with GT40P's etc?

I'm asking becasue of the sound it produces, which I love.

I've got 2.5 all the way through, no baffles, with high flow cats atm.

No, they are 2 " from the rear of the cats until they merge @ the chrome finisher. Mind you they could lose one of the rear mufflers as well!!! I also have a twin 2.5" system on one of the EL' s & unless you are planning some major engine work it's a waste of money. he car has lost it's low down torque with the 2.5 " system & standard engine. Needless to say, I don't go to that exhaust shop anymore. G11
