I have a manual EF XR6 and I recently installed what I am lead to believe is a EL pedal box. The only problem is I can’t seem to hook up the brake light switch.

Are the brake switches in the EF’s different to those in the EL’s?

There are more brackets in the pedal box that I installed, there is one bracket near the brake pedal but I don’t know if this is for a switch or not…
And yes I have already consulted the Technical Section and the Gregory’s but none seem to be of any help.

Ok I managed to fix it. I went to Ford and found that the switches are the same.

Then I just bent the bracket near the brake pedal out of the way and it fit straight in!

I was surprised there was such a difference between the two pedal boxes, oh well its fixed now.
