how many ppl have put monster tachos in there coons? i have a SPECO tachometer. its about 5inchs plus it also has the shift light. just wondering were it would be best placed

In the Bin. nah just kidding To the right of the instrument cluster. In the small gap between the cluster and the pillar if it fits. It will be less obstructive but still easy to see. Ben |

why do you need another tacho - if you didnt notice theres one already in the instrument cluster...

i suggest mounting it in a fully hetic way so people and police can see it and go AWESOME....
car an auto i guesss hmmm.... the OEM cluster has a tacho,,, just wire a shift light in.... if you do choose to go with a fully hectic tacho, mount it under the OEM one, i was told from a mechanic any guages that replaces the oem must be mounted below it the org. one.

lol. what i dont understand is why the f**k ou would need a 10,000 or 11,000rpm tacho in a car thats not meant to rev over 5,500!!! 
i agree it should either go in the bin, or be sold to some fully sik VTEC owner.

FFS i hate seeing this type of s**t, Driving along you see some commie or falcon, and it has a monster tacho on the dash.
I think geez this must be a contender (for my bike) i pull up next to it and see: Auto slushie box, standard cd player, standard steering wheel, standard UNI driver. I think ok maybe it's a trolley and i wait to listen, the drivers stalls up and all i hear is the slight hummMMMMMMM and the rear lifting up. LIGHTS GO GREEN: He's off and out of there with a lurch and the same quietness that the standard six has. Moral of story: If you have a standard car and a monster Tacho you FAIL at teh driving.
