I have a 94 EF Mont have just put it into self test diagnostic mode and got 3 flashes then pause then 3 flashes pause then it stayed on is this error 33 or whats the go with working out the codes?

Ive allreayd read that ineed to know how many flashes etc represent the codes like code 47 is that 4 flashes then 7 or sumthing?... cuase im getting 3 flashes a pause then 3 flashes

I get that (33) from the dash ABS light but am not convinced - although it may be right. Did yours start after your engine re-install too? Will try the test via the diagnostic port using a LED tester next.

Can someone please clarify whether the diagnostic port will/should give the same code as the ABS dash light, and confirm that you read the ABS codes from the ABS STO pin (7th from left top row)?
