Ok i'm just about finnished my manual conversion i put a manual ecu in instead of using the auto one.Anyway when i started breifly for half a min to a minute my car was running rough now am i right in thinking that it was running rough as the manual computer has to tune all in to the car.I know when i had bombadores that when i would re-place the stock memcal with a performance one the car would idle alot faster and run quite rough for about 5 to 10 minutes until it tuned itself in.Now do the fords Eseries do the same type of thing when changing the ecu to a manual ECU or just putting a differant ECU in all togeather

yes, they have to relearn so will run rough for a while, then it will settle down, sometimes they stall etc, pretty standard
