Hi all,

I have had injection on my Xf panel van for some time now and was using a low and high pressure pump set up, But have recently upgraded to an xg fuel tank with pump.

The problem i have is the fuel guage wires from the old tank had three wires and the new tank has two, I have tryed hookin them up a couple of ways but i am having no luck.

Do i have to change guages or can i mod the original one to work with the different sender.. IE: Xg sender to Xf guage.

I have been thinking of just buying an after market fuel guage and just using that.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If memory serves, the XF uses a capacative type gauge, and the XH uses a later type. You may need to change the dash to make it work. its an old memory though.

Might be better off with an external fuel gauge
