Hello everyone.
I have a broken or loose cruise control switch. It is very loose and I am not sure what to do because I am afraid of triggering the airbag if I attempt to fix the problem. Can you please give me some advice.

Broke a cc button on mine. Took button off and now just use the little green button underneath. Bought another one off ebay which sits in the garage until I sell the car. Yes, you gotta take the airbag off to replace the switch cluster. Disconnect battery and wait

AT LEAST TEN (10) MINUTES

Before removing airbag. This is done by attacking the tork screws under the airbag. Not a hard job, but not worth doing me just yet as I am quite happy w/out the button

I just used silicone/silastic to fix mine. A small dob on the both the inside and outside edge and hold in position with tape until dry. Has been fine for the past 5 years now.

Whoops..... I just removed my airbag without disconnecting the battery or waiting a specified amount of time. It didnt deploy luckily.

Probably ok to do that, the manual instructions are probably just a precaution to make sure nothing happens
