does anyone know for sure which version of the gt40 heads the eb gt uses. was it just an alloy version of the gt40?, or was it one of the turbo swirls gt40y or gt40x? or something different again?

I think they were the GT40p steel heads, can anyone confirm this?

I think you will find they are GT40 irons. The P's didn't come out until 94 or 95. The FPV website just lists them as GT40's - whereas the ELGT's are listed as GT40P's http://www.fpv.com.au/index.asp?link_id=4.76
