Could it have something to do with child lock being on?

your door lock actuator is stuffed, theres no servicable parts in them so your up for a new one and seeing as you have a ba you will also need a new jumper loom to plug into the factory loom then into the lock itself. this is because ba locks are obsolete and all au ba and bf falcons will ned to use the bf actuator. all up your looking at $160-$190 new from ford. tell em to be nice and do it for a lesser price.

or you could do it your self - actuators are a piece of piss to do, undo the door trim and interior handle, remove the 3 bolts on teh actuator and replace with one from ebay!
