What mods do I need to do to put the EA diff into my 87 Ghia (both disc brakes)?

The EA & XF diffs are the same, but the brake calipers are different. Your XF parkbrake cables may or may not work out, suck it and see, I suppose.

Also the overall width of the EA diff (hub to hub) will be shorter. Not sure how much but i think if u fit it with some 245s or bigger or some spacing plates she will be close.

XF's had vented rear disc's, and the EA's had solid disc's.

you would be better off with an eb 28 spline diff than an ea 25 spline. but apart from that they fit with only changing a few things hand brake cable ie: use the ea 1
and i think the t peice for the brake lines.(not sure on this 1 was too long ago that i did it)
brakes: use the ea brakes unless you want to muck around moding the xf ones to fit (xe/xf brakes work better apart from the slide pins)
hope this helps

and i forgot to mention the track stays pretty much the same. i had 265's under my xe with an eb diff in it and they did not scrub at all.
