Does anyone know or can anyone tell me how to remove the stokko head unit from a '93 ED Falcon Classic? This is my first ford and I dont really want to have to make major mods to dash to remove or install new one.

firstly there is two screws in the face plate above the original h/u.

unscrew thease and the face plats will just lift out with no problems.

once removed the h/u will have two brackets one each side with a security screw in each unsure what size they are, once they have been removed the h/u will just slide out.

when you put the new one in you need to make surd the two brackets are screwed to the new unit as that is what holds them in.

Thanks johnaton. Installed the HU last night successfully. Was really easy and I suppose if i'd bothered to use my own two eyes i would have seen those two screws anyway. All working now... Have a Sony Xplod BTX2500 Bluetooth enabled stereo now in car.

Just have to get some decent speakers in there...LOL
