HI all as it says looking for information on the au rtv suspension front end setup and if it would fit in an el .

You can get the kit to fit mcpherson struts and rack and pinion steer to the X series falcons and au is not that much different to ef anyway so why not.

would it just be the case of changing the lower control arm and springs or would it be the case of a complete change upper & lower arms spring & strut steering and swaybar

There was an AU RTV? I thought the RTV model only started with BA.
There's a fella on here, actually 2 I think whove fitted AU suspension setups in E-series. |

as far as i know there was (correct me if im wrong ) a rtv based ute in the au models .

the RTV type AU ute was just a motor show special,
AU/BA to E series requires some work that would make your engineer a VERY rich man!

There was a AU rtv, it has the locker diff.

Oh and it runs raised suspension. You see the odd one here and there.

This is correct the AU series RTV was also known as the R7 and was a highly modified AU on which the territory and the RTV originated from... when ford released the BA, one of the motor show concept cars was in the form of the then unnamed RTV and once they decided to go into production they held a contest for the name.
