hey all, quick question for those that understand torque converters better than I. I have an xr8 motor and auto gearbox with a 2.77 XF diff and 215/65/r14 wheels. The bugger keeps going into limp mode when you absolutely floor it. Could the ratio of the diff cause the revs to go too high and the ECU not see enough road speed and therefore trigger limp mode?

I can get my hands on a 3.27 diff from a LTD..just wondering if this could be the cause of my problems.

I have checked out everything electrically.
