im running 2 amps and soon to be running a dvd player off the stock battery...well i think its stock o_O

is it time to get a new battery...i dont know how these things work?

Its more if your alternator is up to the job.. When the car is running in effect the alternator supplies the power. Whether it needs to be upgraded will depend on how big your amps are and what else you plan to run.
