Just uploaded my time to the timeslip page and thought i would share some vids and that!

14.582 @94mph
60ft: 2.149

Mods:
exhuast and cai

here are a couple of vids of my car on you tube here are a few links:

the burnout before my 14.5 run:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=55pn-8dHWCQ

an older vid before my cold air intake:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tc3AG5qoZP4

my brother did video the 14.5 run BUT this does sound real dodgy but he stopped filming just before i went over the line (yeah i was angry) so i didnt see much point in posting it up, luckily i have a time slip to show it! haha even though that is messed up!! it displays the terminal speed as 81.85mph!! the 660 foot is correctly displayed at 74.80mph so its really weird. I went up and asked them about it and they said the elapsed time was correct though (cant be wrong i was running 14.6-14.7 all night).

well thats it from me for now!
dame

If the time is legit apart from the messed up readings, then i'd say theres some sort of cam in there that you dont know about maybe?

Thats a top time that some people spend alot of money to get there

Thanks,

Exhaust is pacemakers into a magnaflow highflow cat then 2.5" mandrel through a highflow muffler.

I am fairly certain that it does not have a cam. I know the person who owned this car before the person i bought it from and he sold it dead stock. The guy i bought it from only put extractors on it and had reciepts for everything so surely if he put a cam in he would have told me!

The car ran a 14.8 with just the exhaust then knocked a little bit more off the next time with a cai and some better launches, i have heard of completely stock ef/el xr6's getting flat 15's so its not that hard to believe i guess!

i can vouch for this car, have seen it in real life. Defiantely runs the standard cam. It's just a freak. 14.5 would have to be the fastest e-series with those mods ever i think.

the auto would have to be in schmick nick, thats usualy the difference between a good time and an average time. most dont pay attention to the humble auto, but if its shagged you can pick up tenths with a rebuild. luanches better and less power loss to the wheels.
